The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $144 million with a cash option of $66.2 million.
The winning numbers were: 27, 31, 41, 52 and 69. The Powerball drawn was 26 with a Power Play of 3X.
No one across the country hit Saturday’s $134 million jackpot. A second-prize ticket matching five numbers but not the Powerball was sold in Georgia. It’s worth $2 million instead of the standard $1 million since the winner spent an extra $1 for the Power Play option.

Saturday’s winning numbers were: 21, 22, 25, 32 and 38. The Powerball drawn was 16 with a Power Play of 5X.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is valued at an estimated $420 million with a cash option of $191.7 million.
